The anointing has a unique feature; it can make Captains out of Captives! A Captain is a Commander; the one in charge and at the helm of affairs. When a Captain says to a Soldier in his platoon, “GO”, he goes, and when he says “COME”, he comes.
1 Samuel 10:1 “Then Samuel took a flask of oil and poured it on his head, and kissed him and said: “Is it not because the Lord has anointed you commander over His inheritance?” (NKJV)
In this scripture, Saul was anointed to be a Captain over his inheritance. It is only a son who receives an inheritance from his father. Saul’s inheritance was this anointing which catapulted him into his destiny – to become a Commander, and later, a King. When Moses entered the land of Egypt, it took him only ten days to walk out of that city with the Israelites and Egypt’s riches. It took him just over a week to shut down an entire nation. This is the anointing of command in action!
When the anointing comes upon you, you are upgraded from being in captivity to being a Captain; from being a sinner to being one who walks in the authority and power of God! The impossible becomes possible. This anointing brings about promotion, favour, and causes things to come with ease.
You were ordained to be the head and not the tail. You were created in His image and likeness. This means that you hold rank of Chief and Commander, as the very offspring of God. You have the authority to issue decrees that even the devil is forced to obey. But it’s up to you and I to know our identity.
Make the decision today to walk in your God-given power and authority.
