Psalm 105:14-15 He permitted no one to do them wrong; Yes, He rebuked kings for their sakes, 15 Saying, “Do not touch My anointed ones, And do My prophets no harm.” (NKJV)
When God places the anointing on your life, it comes with great protection. In Matthew 26 when the soldiers came to arrest Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane, Peter attempted to protect Jesus by cutting off the ear of the high priest’s servant. But Jesus responded saying that should He desire, He could simply call upon His Father in heaven to dispatch more than twelve legions of angels for His protection. Jesus knew that all of heaven was standing ready for Him. He could just speak one word and the angelic hosts would respond.
The anointing is heaven’s treasure. I guarantee you that this anointing is not taken lightly in the kingdom of God. When the anointing is resting in and upon your life, you can rest assured that heaven is aware of you – your life, your health, well-being and your protection.
1 John 2:27 says that every believer has the anointing within them. Every believer is anointed to a degree. The anointing ensures the security of the anointed. In fact, it is dangerous for anyone to come against one who is anointed. The scripture above says that we are not to touch His anointed. When we touch the anointed, we touch God.
Once you begin to walk in the anointing which God has set aside for you, you will receive divine protection! The key to activate this protection over your life is to earnestly desire and seek after the treasure of the anointing.
When you’re anointed, nothing can come against you without simultaneously opposing heaven, the angelic hosts, and the kingdom of God.
